Welcome Sakamoto Samurai! 
We want to welcome all of our new and returning families to the 2025-26 school year.  Sakamoto is a fun and vibrant school and the PTO is here to support that in every way possible.

What is the PTO and how can I get involved?

PTO stands for Parent Teacher Organization, a school-based, non-profit organization with a mission to help build a community that supports the school’s academic endeavors. We are a group of mothers, fathers, family members, teachers, staff, and administrators working together to create fun events, provide support and resources to classrooms, and collaborate with others to make each year better than the last.

We have so many ways our community can help!

Here are a few:

• Check out our monthly newsletter on parent square to stay in touch.​

• Attend our monthly PTO Meeting via Zoom the first Tuesday of each month.

• Share your ideas and and suggestions.

• Volunteer when you can at the PTO Volunteer Corner.

• Participate in school fundraisers.

If you have a student at Sakamoto Elementary School, we would love for you to join our team!  We are so grateful to have such a large group of parent and community volunteers, and are always happy to welcome new faces.  Without volunteers, our work wouldn’t be possible.  So THANK YOU to our new volunteers and returning volunteers!
